Hourglass Film Noir Mascara

Posted on

Another new feature of VimS – Super Sunday, where outstanding products will be reviewed & propagandized here.

What Hourglass says about Film Noir…

It conditions and hydrates lashes with pro-vitamin B5.

Polymers help it adhere to lashes while also resisting smudging and fading
The triple-cut, hourglass-shaped brush distributes the product evenly
Special formula creating volume, lift and length
It’s free of parabens, sulfates and phthalates

Only available in a single shade – Onyx, a deep, dark jet black; This sleek, sophisticated, lash lengthening, volume plumping, curling, lifting, smudge resistant & long wearing mascara is definitely a keeper.  The intense concentration of Panthenol (ProVitamin B5) also adds a reflective, jet-black sheen for dramatic impact.

Film Noir’s signature hourglass-shaped brush is designed for optimal application, adding volume, length, lift, and separation to lashes.

Ingredients : Water, Acrylates/Ethylhexyl Acrylate Copolymer, Paraffin, Copernicia Cerifera (Carnauba) Wax, Acrylates Copolymer, Stearic Acid, Beeswax, Acacia Senegal Gum, Glycerin, Triethanolamine, Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil, Cetyl Alcohol, Hydroxyethylcellulose, PEG-40 Stearate, Aminomethylpropandiol, Methylparaben, Ethylparaben, Propylparaben, Phenoxyethanol, Dimethicone, Panthenol, Iron Oxides (CI 77499)

What do I love so much about this mascara?

My lashes are subtly darkened, perfectly defined, smudge less & crump free. I thought my former mascara had been doing a decent job, but in comparison, my lashes looked more neatly enhanced, well curled & lifted; The light but effective formula ( and slim, unique shaped brush ) subtly defined even those hard to reach corner lashes, creating a completely enhanced & polished look.

That’s me wearing just 2 coats of Hourglass Film Noir without any lash inserts or eye lining at the base of the lashes.
