My attempt for trying to capture the beauty of Bobbi Brown Modern Classic palette, with my I Phone.
Joey, why’s the hesitation?
Another pressed powder for someone who has N amount of compacts?
Well, I think this pressed powder is exceptional, and it’s worth its price.
Phyto-Poudre Compacte by Sisley, a face powder that comes in a fashionably cool leopard packaging. This product claims to keep your skin clear and luminous the whole day.
Micronised powder with double coating of Silicone & Lecithin keeps the skin moist & maintains color stability for long wearing; Absorbs excess oil & reduces unwanted shine. Infused with Camellia oil & oily extracts of Mallow & Linden, this light as feather powder envelops skin with absolute softness & sheer protection. It also minimizes visible pores & conceals minor skin blemishes; Leaving you with a smooth, matte, unified, radiant & refined complexion.
I am loving this pressed powder; It’s almost one of its kind – contains micro particles that illuminate your skin. The texture is extremely soft & almost cashmere-y, feels luxurious. Below are my pictures to show you those refined glitters of this amazing pressed powder – Don’t worry, those pearlised micro particles are so refined that it will never leaves you looking like a glitter ball.
My shade is No.2 Transparente Irisee – It instantly revive & refine my complexion. If you swatch this powder over the back of your hand, you will be impressed by its texture & finish.
Sisley Phyto Poudre Compacte is now officially my fake-it pressed powder; Great for days when my skin looks lack lustre, swallow & abused.
Only one problem, this is not a long lasting or oil controlling pressed powder; Don’t expect this to be sebum busting & last through your all night dancing. ( It will makes you look perfectly polished & glowing, when you leave your house )
Sometimes, affordable basics are just all you need to complete your designers wardrobe.
Apart from splurging on http://www.shopbop.com over the black Friday / cyber Monday ( Alexander Wang is the one to be blamed for ), I had also updated my wardrobe with some pretty “economical” essentials like T shirt, jerseys, denims & cardigans. There was a 20% off from ASOS own line. ( Joey, there was a free International delivery as well; Hope you had spend some “wise” money )
