Dolce & Gabbana Sicilian Lace Collection

Posted on

I loves nudes palette. I believes everyone looks great in nudes. Guess that makes me a naturalist ?

D&G is known for mixing feminine sensuality with luxury, and the Italian brand’s new Sicilian Lace beauty collection is no exception.

The launch features a lipstick, gloss, shadow quad, limited edition bronzer and nail lacquer in the gauziest of sun-touched bisque nudes.

Makeup artist and Dolce & Gabbana beauty collaborator Pat McGrath says the shades reflect the beauty of Sicily’s sandy beaches. “It’s a look that’s so fresh, barely there yet so sexy — and most impressive, the palette is truly timeless, which is what makes a make up collection genuinely classic,” says McGrath.

I am fascinated by the nude beige lip gloss, the powder bronzer ( OMG, the lattice pattern is fabulous ) and the neutral / dusky / plum eyeshadow quad.

Enough nude porn for now. I am so going to get naked ( I mean my make up ) this Fall.

  1. This falls’a make up collections are absolutely beautiful! At least the ones you picked to blog about. Now I don’t know whether I’m crazier about Guerlain or D&G :-). I must own something like 30 nude lipsticks and glosses and I’m still considering other purchases. [There’s this great smiley on Yahoo, drooling, rolling eyes, sucking thumb and looking confused, I’d have been in dire need of that one here]

  2. I forgot to mention that nude/blush seems to be THE color of 2010. Louis Vuitton brought out the new rose florentine shade in the vernis collection (I’m still waiting for my Sobe in that shade arrrghhh), make up lines seem to go huge on nude pink and beige, etc etc etc. Not that I would mind – it’s my alltime favorite color! Though, returning to LV, I think that their amaranth shade still is top of the pops. I got My Sunset Boulevard in that color this year and it’s stunning. I’m curious about the rose florentine…. some say it’s more beige than pink. I only saw it online in their e-shop and ordered via phone – unless my life depends on it I’m not traveling to Bucharest, not even if it’s for LV.
