Grandiose Print

Majestic prints in bold hues for Spring 2011.

Perfect match with wild pink & bold orange lips.

Mary Katrantzou is definitely a name worth remembering, such a talented designer. LPB predicts that MK will be HUGE.

Try tamer lilacs & berries if you’re less adventurous.

LPB’s Spring 2010 Staples

These are the items that I had been using almost daily during spring 2010, I am very impressed by them but I think I have to move on to something more seasonal / exciting. So, before I say farewell……

Bobbi Brown Natural Finish Long Lasting Foundation SPF 15 offers adequate coverage, wear, protection & skin caring when the weather is still freezing cold & unforgiving.

I can’t get enough of Chanel Kaska Eye Quad and Rouge Allure Insouciate

I desperately need BB Tinted Eye Brightener during the post festive season.

I prefer sexy, sultry scent for spring rather than those conventional fruity floral blends; Obviously, Tom Ford’s White Suede was my favourite scent.

Laura Mercier Deluxe Mini Brush Set was my most sensible spend last Christmas as I am enjoying using these superb quality, ultra portable brushes on a daily basis since my purchase.

My charming, distinctive M.A.C. Liberty of London make up bag.

NARS Spring 2010 collection, namely Kuala Lumpur Duo Eyeshadow, Purple Rain nail polish, Cruising lipstick for a pop of colour.

Chanel Kaska Beige Eyeshadow

Chanel’s spring 2010.

I loves these shades and had been using them lately on a daily basis.  Kaska Beige is very powdery and unlike most of Chanel’s eyeshadow palette, is rather matt in finish and has minimal glitters !

I like using the deepest shade ( which is purplish dark brown ) wet as an eyeliner, it lasts for at least 8 hours on my lids; yes Chanel’s Kaska Beige could be used dry or wet, very versatile; the finish is slightly more opaque & intense if used wet ; natural with light shimmer ( subtle ) is used dry.

It should be a staple in everyone’s vanity case.

Yves Saint Laurent Beaute Spring 2010

I like the over all colour scheme of this look – frosty mauve with uber cool silver blue, coupled with shimmery pink.

Great for the chilling weather, yet bright & cheerful enough to be reminiscently spring.

Parisian Sky palette  & Golden Petal shimmering gloss rock !

Chanel Spring 2010

A sneak preview of Chanel’s spring 2010 collection ! I know, it’s not even Christmas yet, but my B-day is in January, so my wish list extends beyond Christmas & New Year.

I like the Kaska Beige eye palette, it’s kind of plum-ish earth tones, I think these neutral shades are comfortably warmth yet chicly cool.

I could see myself  buying Kaska Beige eye palette & Particuliere varnish.

I am not too sure about the compact highlighter, as my recent encounter with their shimmering tweed version wasn’t what I had expected.

The whole spring 2010 look is impeccably elegant, not ground breaking / stunning / fashion forward though; I just have the image of a mink & pearl wearing lady having high tea when I came across this collection.

Chanel Particuliere 2010

Particulière, designed by Chanel makeup director Peter Philips, is a shimmery mauve-gray nail polish for spring 2010; In my opinion, this mink hue screams autumnal rather than spring.

Must be the Jade phenomenon; who could predict that a pale candy green shade would be a must have, IT, sold out, beauty editors & bloggers crazed product in autumn winter? Chanel is trying to be unconventional, break the rules again next SS 2010.

To me, the shade looks unique but I might be risking my pale hands to appear corpse like.

Well, if Twilight is so happening, then I have the perfect excuse to collect this.
