Camelia Pink + Pinch O’Peach

Posted on

When Camelia Pink lip mist meets Flower Mist Dew beauty powder & Pinch O’Peach sheertone blush.

Pardon me for the bare face without any base makeup ( sans concealer, primer, powder or foundation )

Burberry Lip Mist 207 Camelia Pink - a really nice, jolly jelly texture with a decent punch of colour yet remains its transparency & glossy sheen

Given the rather bright lips I am carrying, I had muted my lids, with just thin eye lining & a coat of my favorite mascara.

Estee Lauder DoubleWear  Stay-in-Place Eye Pencil 05 Graphiti  - creamy smooth yet firm enough for a single stroke of smudge free, fade proof, long lasting gorgeousness. Gray is less harsh when it comes to lining my yellow, warmth complexion.

HourGlass Film Noir Mascara – I can’t brag enough about this absolutely fabulous mascara; Intense pigments with a glossy sheen; Clump free, smear proof. The photo below demonstrate the impact of this wonderful mascara. ( I had just put on one single coat of Film Noir )

Lets see the bright & cheerful Camelia Pink radiating its gorgeousness under the Sun.

Cheeks were discreetly sculpted & accentuated with M.A.C. Sheertone blush & the limited edition  Flower Mist Dew beauty powder from ? years ago.

M.A.C. Sheertone Blush in Pinch O’Peach – peachy coral wash of warmness.

M.A.C. Beauty Powder in Flower Mist Dew – pale pinkish high lightening powder without any shimmer/sheen/glitter.

A neutral, plain Jane look with Rue de Sevres, Douceur & Viva Glam II.

Guerlain Ecrin 6 Couleurs Rue de Sevres – gorgeously packaged rosewood palette with a minty highlighter, a nice neutral, earthy tones palette.

NARS Douceur – dusky pink blusher with warm brownish undertone that suits all skin tones; Extremely versatile, absolutely essential!

M.A.C. Viva Glam II - pinkish nude satin lipstick that can be too mute & beige for your liking.

I had used the 3 lighter, brownish shades from Rue de Sevres on the lids without any eye liner.

I think Viva Glam II washed my complexion out a bit in real life, but it seems all right in those photos above. Hence, some indoor photos of me without Viva Glam II for your comparison.

Another collection from M.A.C. for the festive seasons ( Would you be surprised? Or kind of numbed, like me, give the amount of collection M.A.C. launched each season? )

I do admit this lipgloss chained to an ornamental teddy bear caught my attention, I think it will makes a perfect Christmas tree decoration. Shame it only comes in one single shade. ( both the bear & the gloss )

 I wasn’t joking when I said M.A.C. is overloading us with it’s Holiday 2011 Collection(s).

and this collection is not even really that exciting……

Except those grayish tone lippies. However, I wonder how practical are those in real life.

Only the Smoky Plum Crushed Metallic pigment kit,

the Neutral mini gloss kit,

and the Pink mini gloss kit are appealing to me at the moment.

New feature of VimS – Stylish Saturday, where LPB dictates predicts the trend.

Some deep, dramatic purple, violet & blue for Fall, coupled with magenta, fuschia……

Intense jewels tones are very Autumn-Winter appropriate.

Even more funky & hip if clashed with bright, cheerful shades.

The temperature is falling, lets loosen up & have some fun. Fashion should never be taken seriously.

Jil Sander rocks with its grandiose, vivid  flower prints ! Carry this style confidently with some equally bright & adorable pastels.

The best way to wear bright fuschia, is with soft pretty pink……

Make sure your makeup has a lustre finish, for a fresh babe creaminess.

I like M.A.C. Cremeblend blush in So Sweet, So Easy ( bright yellow pink ), Something Special ( light coral ) & Brit Wit ( dusty rosy mauve )

Inspired by the Oscar winning film ……

Feathered gears & stunning accessories ;

Themed with heavily lined, smudged & smoky eyes in dark jewel tones such as those from M.A.C Peacocky collection or those from Burberry beauty ……

The ultimate outfit goes to this Matthew Williamson’s skirt, which cost about £ 4000 ( worth every penny, given its exquisite details & fine craftsmanship ) !
