The texture of rouge allure velvet is amazing to say the least. I think this is the best lipstick range ever launched in 2011.
When Chanel Rouge Allure Velvet L’Exquise meets Stila Natural Eyes palette.
L’Exquise looks deceivingly wine/burgundy but actually appears more brick reddish in real life.

This time it’s Chanel Les 4 Ombres 33 Prelude & Joues Contraste 68 Rose Ecrin.
Introducing Lancome L’Absolu Nu 202 Beige Tulle, on my lips, this turns out rather pinkish with a hint of brown.
I don’t normally line my top lash root, but today I had used the darkest shade in Prelude wet as a liner.

I had used Guerlain Parure Gold Radiance Foundation SPF15, such a good base with superb coverage yet appears soft & natural.

Since my lips are going to be in the limelight, I had used some extremely understated blusher & eyeshadow with a single coat of mascara for the rest of my features; I had even gone to the extreme of not powdering my complexion.

My version of a quick & easy approach for a bold, dramatic effect. It only takes about 5-10 minutes, yet the impact is full on ( May be loud is more appropriate )
I had dusted a layer of Shiseido Luminizing Satin Eye Colour VI720 Ghost over my lids, just to brighten them up a bit. How ironical? A shade named Ghost over the windows to your soul.
RMK Dusty Bright Colour Blusher Ex-01 Beige Pink was used on the apples of the cheeks for a sheer wash of colour & definition; You could see that I had used it for contouring as well by simply extending it up to my temples from the cheek bones.
I cannot rave enough about the fresh, luminous finish from Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua ( My shade is B30 – Beige Sable ) & the star of the post - Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Pur Couture 27 Soft Fuchsia.
My lips are usually dry & patchy due to neglect & my sheer laziness, but 2 coats of Rouge Couture Pur ( straight application from the tube ) cover a multitudes of sins.

I just love the light yet moisturising gel like texture of these lipsticks, and of course, you can see how brilliant & vibrant Dior Addict Lipsticks are.
This innovative gel-based lipstick will cushion your lips in soft-comfort colour with a shine finish. The clear lip colour base allows for a bold bullet with pure colour registration while the super smooth formula leaves lips with a soft colour payoff. The emollient-rich formula features peach, apricot and almond oils and is preservative free.
The colors look extremely vibrant but they go on sheer and gives you a ‘ just bitten ’ look and is extremely smooth.
Despite the vivid tones, lips look real, just drenched in color with a light glossy finish. The texture is, indeed, of a gel, hence easy to apply and maintain. They’re very hydrating and make the lips plump up with moisture and look luscious. The longevity of wear is like any excellent lipgloss.
