Pearl-fection

As inspired by Chanel SS 2012 Fashion Show & makeup theme.

To create a blanc yet luminous canvas, I had recruited my Chanel Le Blanc liquid foundation & Guerlain Meteorites Perles in Teint Rose.

To accentuate the bridge of nose, under eyes area ( the tear drop pearl point as I would call them, the lower lids where your iris sit ) & temples, I brushed on Shu Uemura Pearl/Perle loose powder with a dense eyeshadow brush.

 

Lips were muted with Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Pur Couture Beige Tribute.

Eyes were defined by Estee Lauder DoubleWear stay-in-place eye pencil in Onyx. A sheer dust of Bobbi Brown’s Chrome Palette : White eyeshadow & Polar Ice shimmer wash eyeshadow over the lids & a light smear of the lightest shade of Ombres Perlees de Chanel over the inner eye corners & brow bones complete the look.

 

 A style that incorporates subtle sheen, refined lustre & polished glow. Pearl-fection!

Dewy healthy skin with subtle illumination over the lids & a sheer wash of glossiness over the pout.

Chanel has done it again, an uber chic look that’s easily reproduced for daily, off catwalk style.

Mermaids have never been such angelic & innocent before Chanel.

M.A.C. Viva Glam Holiday 2011

Another collection from M.A.C. for the festive seasons ( Would you be surprised? Or kind of numbed, like me, give the amount of collection M.A.C. launched each season? )

I do admit this lipgloss chained to an ornamental teddy bear caught my attention, I think it will makes a perfect Christmas tree decoration. Shame it only comes in one single shade. ( both the bear & the gloss )

NARS Spring 2011

NARS Spring 2011 Collection is the epitome of minimalism, reaching a sensual peak with fresh & forward colour. Deep hues for eyes and nails are infused with a metallic finish that lends a subtly sleek finish.

Dior Holiday 2010 Collection – Minaudiere

After Chanel, I guess it’s only fair to feature Christian Dior’s holiday 2010 collection.

I have to say this oh-so-chic eye palette would be the star product among the rest of Dior’s minaudiere collection. I wonder whether the contain could be deported when finished; This clutch size compact would serve a fabulous card / cigarette holder.

I adore the mystic, smoky dirty gold eyes the model is wearing.
