Laura Mercier Mineral Foundation Primer

Posted on

Laura Mercier Mineral Foundation Primer – primes skin to achieve a smoother, more even application of Laura Mercier’s mineral formulas. The cutting-edge, liquid to powder formula prepares the skin for a flawless application of mineral make up.

Offers a good-for-you blend of vitamins and minerals to visibly improve the appearance of skin

Ultra-silky, weightless finish invisibly shields the skin

Helps makeup stay fresh and colour-true throughout the day

Visibly minimizes the appearance of imperfections

Extends makeup wear

This LM foundation primer delivers what it promised. A hard working primer that really smoothes the skin surface, erases minor imperfection, minimises oily break through & facilitates make up application.

Laura Mercier MFP has a cooling gel cream texture that dries into a powdery finish; primes & mattifies the complexion effortlessly. On my bare face, it manages to keep oily breakthrough at bay for at least 4 hours ( even by then, no greasy, shiny patches were visible, just the surface of the skin became less powdery when touched ). In fact, the powdery veil could  highlights any dry, flaky patches ( easily resolved by smudging with finger ). It also makes foundation application seamlessly swift & easy, especially cream gel mineral foundation like my M.A.C Mineralized SPF 15.

It has a reasonable line smoothing effect but LM MFP isn’t the best pore shrinker on the market. If you have combination to oily skin and prefer mineral make up, you should give this a try. Shame it hasn’t got a SPF despite all the skin benefiting extracts like aloe juice, white tea, lychee berry & milk thistle.
